Background

Maya is the first born of Max Spirits (An American and CIA agent) and Kim Eunha (A korean psychiatrist), she grew up in California USA but moved to Ilsan with her family when she was 11 years old. Her father died when she was 5 years old and her mother developed dementia, with her mother ill she had to take care of her siblings at a young age.

Eventually Eunha's dementia worsened and she was admitted to a mental institution, because of this 17 year old Maya was forced to work multiple jobs and send her siblings to their aunt as she could not support them enough.

Light shined down on her when she was scouted as a model in an agency, after a few years she saved enough money to rent an apartment and go back to school.

As of today she juggles between the responsibilities of being a sister, a model and a university student.
